Antivirus: free antivirus download AVG 8 direct download link:

Download free Antivirus Software

Since AVG released version 8 of what might be most probably the most downloaded free antivirus software, this popular site has been hotlinked like crazy. The only way you can support the site is by purchasing the paid version and since people started downloading the software via hotlinks, they had to start moving the download for the file from time to time.

Now it seems more difficult to get to the page as the free version isn’t even mentioned on the products page. The best way to find it will always be (should always be) to search for “free grisoft“ on the official AVG Site (http://www.grisoft.com)

Seems it is now too late… AVG8 is no longer free! (Download Trial)

    Man, i should have gotten this before it went to “trial” mode…. this sucks… i need to find another free antivirus software.

    AVG is Free (correction: was FREE).

    After I made the post above I found the direct link to download the AVG antivirus software from their site again. And since then it was moved again!

    I thought I would rather not upload the direct link but haven’t they heard about aweber? They can just ask for a signup and provide you with the free version. It seems they need money more than I do. I guess then it makes their actions OK :-)

    PC Tools is a nice alternative for a free antivirus. It updates fast and easy.

    PC Tools Anti Virus is still Free.

    Just look at the bottom to download the free version on the official website of PC Tools.
