Hi Gert!
I like the screen capture plugin. It is easy to use and you can crop your screenshot or open it up in an external editor.
Good day to you!
What do you think of the new FireFox version 3. I haven’t downloaded yet but hear there have been some issues with different bugs. I am a little weary of my plugins not working.
Hey Daniel, installing Firefox plugins is one of my very satisfying things I like doing from time to time. There are others but the FireShot free screen capture software tool is so far the best you can get.
Bill, I have re-installed my Firefox3 this past week because Installing the beta of the Google Chrome browser and maybe because I imported my firefox bookmarks (or maybe for some other reason), my firefox got sick. After trying lots of alternatives I knew what to do. All that was left was a brand new install.
I use the Febe Backup plugin and used it before to move my FireFox from my laptop to this desktop - so it works. I say this because I do not know your list of plugins and whether they all are compatible with firefox3.
What I do know is that you can and should make a backup off all your stuff. I prefer not to use the full profile backup method of Febe, but rather the Selective one (choosing everything to be downbloaded though) as restoring the full profile one can be tricky.
Just do it. Bill, if you do not like FireFox3 you can always install your older version FireFox and restore your saved settings.
