Is Google Chrome going to kill the beloved Fox?

Will Chrome prove to be lethal to the Fox?

I have a few favourites – one of which is FireFox. This little browser is my favourite because it has been free and fast and plugin friendly. Now Google is bringing out a new browser – anyway as soon as they have revolutionized the browser technology.

Soon it will be faster to browse – much faster – and I mean faster because the software will handle the website software much like a computer does.

If you are into the inside-workings-secrets you may want to check out the Google Chrome Comic Strip.

According to gigaom.com Mozilla is not a bit worried about the latest talks about the Google Browser.

CNET News posted that FireFox talks about releasing the monkey,  I mean a new FireFox version 3.1 that is going to have the agility of a monkey :-) They foresee that this version will outperform the Chrome Sportsmodel from Google.

This move from Google is widely praised as it is an open source project. According to the Guardian.co.uk, the Google Chrome Browser is starting a battle with Microsoft. A Linux and Mac Version are planned to be released as well and people can download a beta version take the Chrome Browser for a test ride.

So what is the score?

Test the Chrome Web Browsere and then after a while – what do you say? Is the Fox still the best?

Hi there Gert. I read your post about Google Chrome browser and I find this to be interesting. I also use Firefox, but would like to test Chrome in the near future to see how it performs.

GOOD for you – in fact this is NOT such a great post as you are trying to make it to be – instead of blacklisting your email address as a spammer I will make use of the opportunity to inform you that your comment does not “comment” on anything mention within the post, is less than 50 words, does not …. just go and read for yourself how to comment.

And thus the inexorable spread of the GOOG continues: “All Your Informations Belong To Us”.

I suppose their popularity helps shield them from accusations of being a near-monopoly.

Their Search is great but I’m dubious about the latest book-scanning initiative; it’s a bit cheeky.
