i joined in and it felt good that so many people were trying, but...

why not just switch off the lights on the eifeel tower, sydney harbour bridge etc, etc every night? is it that important to be able to see them at night?

Ah, wonderful. I was waiting for a new blog post so I could leave a comment.

Interesting topic. We need to become much more energy efficient as a society.

The earth would benefit even more if we could release the stranglehold big oil companies have on government energy policies. Anyway, the industrial technological society we live in today requires too much energy and pollutes us and the environment too much. It is therefore not sustainable. Technology has not and may never save us in the long run.

On a slightly different note, you may read this article about <a href="http://educate-yourself.org/fe/radiantenergystory.shtml" rel="nofollow">Nikola Tesla and radiant energy</a>.

I am off to read it myself.
